We are concentrating on corporate gift hampers, unique gift ideas for any budget and weekend activity ideas and family fun pack through the hire part of our business which we look to expand. At present we offer the bike L fun (quadricycle 6 seater), fishing rods, wetsuits, surfboards, boogie boards and mask snorkel sets. Soon to have kayak and bike hire.
We have our new Beachport Hoodies and T-shirts in store – one of three local designs that will be arriving.

A busy few weeks ahead for us, but an exciting new venture
we would like to thank all our artists for their support over the past year.

What a busy month it has been indeed. We held our summer fashion parade on the 19th, the day panned out fabulously, the local models strutted their stuff on the catwalk which was held at Bompas, and the weather was just superb with locals sitting out on the lawn enjoying the show and a wine or two. The day was not only to celebrate our new summer stock, it was also to bid farewell to Corinne and Steven Spadotto who have sold their business Bompas. We now welcome Les, Heather and Kirsten from Adelaide.
We also had local artist JoJo Spook judge our Christmas Bauble competition. Belinda Whitehead took out 1st prize with her impressive 7 reindeer’s bauble. Annie Wiese won 2nd with her cool recycled funky land mind bauble. Then for Children under 12 we had Nicole Moran win with her craypot bauble and then Cameron Atkinson who done a wonderful job decorating his bauble.
Abi and I Hope you all had a great Christmas and wish you a safe and happy new year.
Only a few more weeks and Christmas is here, hard to believe I know. The Beachport locals are getting in on the Christmas spirit by decorating baubles, the competition will be heating up with all entries to be in by the 12th of this month. I believe the judges will have a hard time choosing winners because of what I have seen so far are just amazing a lot of creativity have gone into these decoration, the best part is anyone can be a part of it!
Also our summer fashion parade will be happening on the 19th of this month, where the baubles will the judged and winners will be announced.

What a fantastic couple of months we have had in the shop and in Beachport itself with the best weather November has seen. And now we are nearly in December doesn’t time fly, now for some even busier times ahead for Abi and me.
We recently celebrated our 1st year in business with some drinks and nibble’s with the locals and a few of our artists. A great day had by all.
Abi and I are now planning a summer fashion parade to showcase all our new exciting summer stock and accessories, which we will hold on the 19th of December in the afternoon, again we will have some lovely locals strutting their stuff for us, and hopefully a bit of live entertainment. Fingers crossed Beachport will keep up with the good weather.
With only 5 weeks till Christmas having trouble finding the right gift?? Then look no further, here at Blupod we have something for everyone, so pop in and have a look around Abi and I would be happy give you a hand and also gift wrap your Christmas presents.

Bring it on – Summer that is. Blu Pod with its ocean views loves to fly open its double doors and let the sunshine hit its groovy ocean coloured floorboards. Ready for sandy feet, salt water and sunkissed bodies looking for great buys from us. Tiff and I are going to share the role of bloggers for Blu Pod and also look forward to inviting guest bloggers for the site.
With summer comes our new summer trading hours – 7 days a week , yep Tiff and i will be batting up daily from Monday to Friday 9.30am – 3.30pm with Saturdays 10am until 3.00pm and Sunday 11.00 – 3.00pm So there is time for everyone to pop in and say hello.
POP FIZZ SATURDAY – Blu Pod is celebrating the festive Season by sharing around a glass of cheer every Saturday leading up until Chrismas. So drop in between 2.00pm and 3.00pm and raise a glass in the name of creativity.

Event of the 29th celebrated the launch of our new spring/summer range and end of SALA, proved to be a fabulous event. Our artist were delighted with successful sales, were looking forward to some of the artist new pieces which will be in store soon. Also alot more new fashion will be arriving ready for summer.

Friday night we celebrated the contribution by South Australia’s Living Artists as part of the SALA Festival. Opened by Stan Thomson from the ABC, the night saw over 100 artists and supporters gather at Bompas.
