With competitors travelling from as far away as Adelaide to compete, We are hoping for another great comp. The comp runs for 2 weeks over the school holidays from Friday 8th July and culminating with a presentation night at The Beachport Hotel on Saturday 23rd July.
This year’s categories are senior men’s/ladies and juniors (15 & under), Mystery Weight and a Bonus Prize Draw. The competitor weighing in the heaviest Salmon over the whole competition will have their name engraved on the much sought after trophy. Daily prizes are awarded for the heaviest fish and numerous on the spot beach prizes are also given out.
Registration forms are available from at Blupod At The Jetty and fees remain at $10 for seniors & $5 for Juniors. All profit from registrations goes directly to the Lions Club with over $1000 worth of prizes donated by local Beachport businesses.
